    Stand Up Pouches Printed Bags

There are many factors that influence the choice between surface or reverse-trapped printing. Surface printing is when we apply ink directly to the outer surface of one of the 50 stock films we have on the shelf. Surface printing has a low minimum quantity, a short lead time, and is a good choice for up to 4 spot colors. Its limitations include the following: print in seal or zipper area is prohibited, limited in registration quality, limited in color stations, and the ink may scratch off in aggressive environments. Reverse-trapped process is when the ink is actually printed on the inside of the outer layer of film and then that outer layer is laminated to the sealant layer, therefore encapsulating the ink within the structure. This process provides the best rating for durability, registration, 10 color process printing, and can also be flood coated in the seal and zipper areas. We can help you decide which technology is the best choice for your specific application.filledbags.gif

    What is Corrugated?

Corrugated boxes are easy to identify. Corrugated is made of paper sheets called “liners” separated by a wavy inner layer called “fluting.” The corrugated most commonly used to make boxes has one layer of fluting between two smooth sheets, which we call “Singlewall”. But there are many types of corrugated available, each with different flute sizes and thicknesses such as Doublewall, Triplewall, or Tri-wall. Laminations can be done for built up pads. Corrugated can be die cut for inner packaging trays, made into boxes, mailers, and shelf bins. Available in natural brown kraft, and shades of bleached white.

    boxedge.gif
Standard shipping boxes are printed with a flexo process, while high end retail boxes require digital printing and litho laminations.

Add on products for corrugated are: Plastic fasteners called BOX CLIPS, plastic carry handles, printed labels, packing slip envelopes, and vinyl pouches.

Corrugated is an extremely durable, versatile, economical and lightweight material used for custom-manufactured shipping containers, packaging and point-of-purchase displays, in addition to numerous non-traditional applications ranging from pallets to children’s toys and even furniture.

Corrugated is Environmentally Responsible, and made from renewable resources. Corrugated combines structural rigidity with superior cushioning qualities, and are graphically appealing.
